American motorcycle racer Nicky Hayden has died on 22 May 2017 at Bufalini Hospital.
He was 35-years-old.
Bufalini Hospital in Cesena, where he was transferred after being hit by a car during a training exercise, released the following statement:
‘The medical college has confirmed the death of the patient Nicholas Patrick Hayden, recovering from Wednesday May 17 in a hospital intensive care unit of Cesena Bufalini as a result of serious multiple injuries occurred on that date.’
