Florida high school senior Brenda Sierra, 18, decided to make a matching dress for dachshund, Sasha, using the same fabric as her own prom dress.
Brenda loves her little dog and takes Sasha anywhere dogs are allowed.
She wanted to bring Sasha with her to the prom, but understandably couldn’t. So she made her a matching dress and took tons of cute pictures before she went.
Brenda said: ‘‘The dress took a few hours to make maybe 2 hours and then I tweaked it a little the next day, Sasha is my best friend. I was so happy to share my most memorable moment with her.’’
‘‘She loved the dress and didn’t mind the fitting. She was really happy with everyone. She was running around in the dress.’’
Brend posted the photos of herself and Sasha to Twitter where they quickly went viral garnering more than 14000 retweets and 52,000 likes.
‘‘I never expected it to get this much attention’’ she said.
