British singer, and former member of the Beatles, Paul McCartney has written a song about U.S. President Donald Trump.
The Beatles legend revealed the news while meeting with students at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts.
While the Beatles legend didn’t imply whether the song was in favour of the US President or not, he did say that he felt he had to write it.
Liverpool Echo reports the 75-year-old singer saying, «Sometimes the situation in the world is so crazy, that you’ve got to address it.»
He might have given a clue to the song’s likely angle, though, after recently telling Britain’s Daily Telegraph, “He’s unleashed the ugly side of America. People feel like they have got a free pass to be, if not violent, at least antagonistic towards people of a different colour or a different race. I think we all thought we’d got past that a long time ago.”
McCartney did not confirm whether the new Trump tune will appear on the album.
