A woman from Missouri City, southwest of Houston, posted a video on Facebook showing two alligators swimming through her backyard on Sunday.
Arlene Gonzalez decided to film the flooding for her followers on Facebook, but nothing could have prepared her for what she saw in the water.
She showed one alligator swimming close to a nearby road while another made its way toward her patio.
Arlene said that she had gotten used to seeing baby alligators in Lake Olympia during the spring, but seeing two big ones like the gators in her backyard was definitely a shock to the system!
