Six nurse practitioners at a hospital in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, were surprised to learn they are pregnant at the same time.
Katie Carlton, Emily Johnson, Nikki Huth, Sabrina Hudson, Nina Day and Bethany Stringer have a lot in common.
They are all friends. They are all nurse practitioners. And they are all pregnant.
The hospital shared one of the nurse’s comments in a Facebook post:
“It’s exciting because, you see these people everyday and they’re a part of your family, and now they’re your pregnant buddies!” Katie Carlton, assistant nurse manager, said.

Carlton and Hudson are both pregnant with their second child. They have been able to share their experiences through pregnancy and becoming a parent to the other nurses who are becoming first-time moms.
The women’s due dates range from the end of July to December.
The six friends are ecstatic to be sharing the miracle of life together.
“People being pregnant together may not be a rarity,” Hudson said. “We are just really excited about our babies and being able to share play dates. I don’t think that after the pregnancies are over we will stop sharing milestones together.”
