Frankie is a 1-year-old miniature Dachshund who has a very unique job. Since he was just a puppy, this sweet dog has been coming to work with his human, Judy Laine.
Judy is the owner of a local pet store in Broadmeadows, Nottingham. Every workday, Frankie is the official ‘store meeter and greeter’ and he is definitely the best at his job.
You can tell he just loves to greet customers and roam around the store looking for new friends. And one of the most incredible things is that Frankie has never missed a single shift.
The 42-year-old owner, Judy, said: “Frankie has full run of the shop when we are closed and we usually do early shifts, so most days we start work at 6.00 or 7.00 am.
“Whilst I’m cleaning out the pets at work, Frankie wanders around, plays chase with any colleagues he can distract, pinches loose biscuits from under the pick and mix biscuit bar.
“He also runs off with cardboard boxes when we have deliveries and generally has great fun.”
His colleagues love having Frankie around so much that they made him his very own uniform and he even has a bed behind the till.
Judy said: “Our colleagues absolutely adore him.
“He’s such fun to have around with his sense of humour, even at 6am in the morning. He makes us all laugh so much with his antics.
It’s obvious that this adorable dog has a great work ethic and people are always excited to see him.
