Just one day before Mother’s Day in 2015, four-year-old Adriana Aviles was diagnosed with leukemia.
After intense treatment and a bone marrow transplant, Addy pushed through to become cancer free. Now, three years later, Addy is a healthy seven-year-old.

In honor of her overcoming the deadly disease, her family decided to celebrate this past Mother’s Day by finally meeting Mike Laureano, the man who donated his bone marrow to save the little girl’s life.
Captured in an emotion video, Adri can be seen alongside her twin sister, Maiya, embracing Mike Laureano, 29, in a teary hug — and the adorable twins refuse to let go of their hero whilst nuzzling their faces into his neck and holding him tightly.

Mum-of-three Jessy Aviles said: ‘Mike is an incredible man. We felt so much love and comfort for him — our twin daughters fell in love with him instantly.
‘We have a bond with him that will last forever. Words will never explain my gratitude for Mike.
