According to CBN News, Landen Hoffman, a five-year-old boy was attacked and thrown from the third floor of the mall by a stranger.
The tragic incident left many angered and saddened, but the little boy has shown that miracles are, in fact, possible.
Little Landen has defied all odds and is now said to be recovering with no brain damage. The incident has astonished everyone including doctors.
Landen Hoffman was along for a regular shopping trip with his parents at the Mall of America (MOA) in Minneapolis, MN on April 12.
The stranger, now identified as 24-year-old Emmanuel Aranda grabbed the little boy and threw him off the balcony, from a height of nearly 40 feet.
Landen was treated at the scene and was soon transported to the hospital. He is said to have sustained broken bones in his legs and arms. Doctors were, however, concerned about any damages caused in the brain due to the fall.
Mac Hammond, the pastor at Living Word Christian Church where the Hoffman family attends, gave an update on Landen’s condition following a visit with the family at the hospital.
We have some GREAT news about Landen! Our God is a miracle-working God! Please continue to pray for Landen and his family, every single prayer is important! #PrayForLanden

“It was a miracle he wasn’t killed,” said Hammond, echoing the words of the doctors upon receiving the results of Landen’s MRI.
The scan, indeed miraculously, showed no brain damage suffered by the five-year-old, despite the significant height from which the child fell.
“There was zero evidence of brain damage,” Hammond told the congregation, “there wasn’t even swelling in the brain.”
While Landen certainly is blessed to be alive, the young boy still faces a significant road to recovery. A GoFundMe started for Landen’s family has raised nearly $1 million to-date.
