Armand Foisy was out with his 101-year-old mother, Albina, and noticed it was snowing higher up in Lillooet, British Columbia.
His mom asked him to stop the car in the middle of nowhere.
“I turned the car around about three kilometres from town, but before I could get back on the road, the door flies open and out steps Mom,” Armand says in a video.
This 101-year-old’s reason for stopping was as simple as it was heartwarming — she simply wanted to make snowballs and enjoy the wonderful winter weather. So delightful to see this spirited woman have so much fun.
“When you have a mother that’s 101 years old, it’s a good idea to keep the camera nearby for those special moments,” says Armand of the experience.
And in November 2018, Armand shared, “Three years ago today that mom was playing in the snow. Now she’s 104 and doing very well. Can you imagine?”
Here's proof that if you find pure joy in the simple things you can live a 100 years.
