A puppy was found stuffed inside a bag and left in the bed of a random truck.
Jerry Murray got home from a business meeting and spotted something he never expected to see in the bed of his truck.
Now named Zeus, the young dog was packed in a backpack with just his head sticking out.
Murray immediately gave the little dog lots of compassion.
«At first I was shocked when I saw him in the back,» says Jerry Murray.
“I gave him some water, gave him some food and let him relax a little bit, ’cause I’m sure he was traumatized from the ride,” he said.
Murray and his wife didn’t feel they could keep the dog because they already have three dogs at home.
Second Chance Friends of Hillsborough County has taken the dog in, and says he will be available for adoption once he is medically cleared, and neutered.
